Description:
This is module one of a two module course on Home Visit Safety. Module 1 of the Home Visit Safety course discusses measures you can take to promote personal safety, including pre-visit research and actions, driving to the location, approaching and entering the home, and leaving the home. Module 2 discusses signs of aggressive behavior and de-escalation, addressing hazardous situations during the visit, and personal protective devices.
