Description: This course presents an overview of diversity and cultural awareness, sensitivity, and competence. The purpose of this course is to help you, as a healthcare provider, recognize any deeply ingrained prejudices that you may have that can be a deterrent to providing the people you serve with the highest level of care possible. This course will aim to unravel any learned biases you may have developed through life experiences and this course will aim to inspire you to make any necessary changes. This can result in providing your clients with culturally-sensitive care.
