Description:
Assessment is a prevalent measure performed by mental health professionals, and because adolescents differ in their needs and presentation than do adults, special attention should be given to risk and threat assessment with this population. It is important to be educated about risk and threat assessment for prevention as well as intervention measures. This course utilizes a combination of didactic components and an interactive case scenario to help the learner apply reviewed skills important in threat assessment.
